Our age-group entered school in 1963 at the St. Markus and St. Bernhard schools. Protestants and other denominations also attended St. Bernhard School, since Paul-Gerhard School, designated for Protestants, had not been build yet.

We have waited 50 years to celebrate Kirmes 2006 - as
